Emotionalism - an international art movement initiated by Lubomir Tomaszewski in the United States of America. Until now - non formal group made of Polish and foreign artists. The roots of Emotionalism started 13 years ago under the working title "In tune with nature" bringing the human aspect back to the art. Emotionalism is not limited only to the visual art (painting, sculpture), but works also with music and dance...

"We are not interested in having only one common style. In fact, the truth is that we love having diversity in both style and philosophy, so long as the primary purpose of the group is visible in the works. And that purpose is quite simply to find art that resonates naturally and deeply within the viewer, observer or listener.

The 100-year-old vanguard, which is proud of such achievements as a bicycle wheel on a pedestal, an urinal, a giant toilet or a giant hamburger, was based on nothing more than tabloid level sensationalism.

What unites us is our belief in the innate nobility of art.  This ideal is difficult to achieve, because how can something so subjective and elusive be empirically defined?

Yet how can we, as artists, strive for anything less?

We believe that now  the time has come for a change, to create art that is profound, strong, passionate, and that will resonate both intellectually and emotionally with the viewer; art that doesn’t require an elaborate explanation; art that involves the whole of man, who he is and who he can become.  It is time for a new renaissance in art, one that will contribute to the nobility of man himself."
